The City of Beverly has upgraded our downtown parking program, and will now use the Passport Parking App.
The GoParkIt App will remain available until December 31, 2023. Please use any funds remaining in your GoParkIt account before transitioning to Passport. If you have issues with your GoParkIt account, please reach out to support@goparkit.com. Parking paystations/kiosks are still a viable option to use to pay for parking. Located in parking lots and on streets downtown, they accept credit card and coin (quarters only) payments.
Visitors
There are a variety of places to park when visiting Beverly’s downtown and several options available to pay for that parking. In the public lots and for on-street parking, the City has installed multi-space paystations. These paystations accept both credit cards and quarters as methods of payment. The Passport Parking App offers another way to pay for downtown parking. The Passport Parking App is available for download from the App Store and from Google Play.
An important thing to remember when parking in downtown Beverly is that in order to pay for your parking at a paystation, you must enter the license plate of your vehicle. Please enter your license plate number correctly in order to avoid receiving a citation. Many paystations have been installed along the streets of downtown Beverly. If you park on the street, you can pay at any on-street paystation, you do not have to pay at the paystation closest to your vehicle. However, if you park in a public lot, you must pay at the paystation in the public lot in order to avoid receiving a citation.

Public Lot Parking
Parking is available in the public lots listed below at $0.50 per hour from 8am to 8pm, Monday through Saturday. The public lots are shown in blue on the parking map. Pay for parking at any public lot paystation using credit cards or quarters. The Passport Parking App is an alternative payment option available for download from the App Store and from Google Play.
Upper and Lower Pond Street Lot (behind The Cabot Lodge - 278 Cabot Street)
Pond/Chapman Street Lot (behind the Atomic Cafe, Soma and Beverly Bank)
Federal/Chapman Street East Lot (behind the Family Dollar store)
Federal/Chapman Street West Lot (adjacent to 6 Chapman Street)
Hale/Briscoe Street Lot (adjacent to 5 Briscoe Street)
Washington Street/Franklin Place Lot (behind Cabot Street Pizza)
On Street Parking
On street parking is available in three different zones. The hourly rate is dependent on the zone.
1. Green Zone
Parking convenient to Cabot and Rantoul Street businesses.
Shown in green on the parking map.
$1.00 per hour, from 8am to 8pm, Monday through Saturday.
Pay at any on-street ‘green zone’ paystation using credit cards or quarters.
The Passport Parking App is an alternative payment option available for download from the App Store and from Google Play.
2. Purple Zone
Parking convenient to the waterfront businesses and harbor.
Shown in purple on the parking map.
$1.00 per hour, from 8am to 8pm, Sunday through Saturday.
Pay at any ‘purple zone’ paystation using credit cards or quarters or using the Passport App.
Parking directly under the bridge overpass is free, but limited to 2 hour increments
3. Red Zone
Parking convenient to residential areas.

Free of charge to visitors, from 8am to 8pm, Monday through Saturday for a limited time period of 2 hours.
MBTA Garage Parking
Long term parking is available at the MBTA garage at 100 Rantoul Street in Beverly. The MBTA Garage is currently managed by Keolis Commuter Service.
Hours of Operation: Monday through Sunday, open 24 hours a day
Cost: Mon-Fri: $4 | Sat-Sun: $2 (Prices are valid for up to 14 hours of parking. After the first 14 hours, the daily rate is $15.)
Payment Methods: Tap Card, Credit/Debit Card, Cash
Snow ban parking rate is $4 for up to 24 hours
